BirdLADay

Griffith Park will once again be one of the locations for Bird LA Day. If you attended last year, you’re already aware Griffith Park is a great venue for an event like this. There are many species to see in the Park and there are a variety of waterfowl down along the Los Angeles River if you’re so inclined to take a longer trek. According to Audubon, over 520 species have been spotted in the Los Angeles region, due in great part to the diversity of the city. This year Griffith Park will again have National Park Service Ranger Anthony Bevilacqua leading the group of hikers. Ranger Anthony will also talk about some of the flora, fauna and other species located in the Park.

We’ll meet at the Merry-go-Round parking lot… follow the directions.

If interested in joining us, we urge you to rsvp to this event so we can get an approximate count…
