Xmas Bird Count / Griffith Park

On Dec 7, 2017

Since the Christmas Bird Count began over a century ago, many thanks go to dedicated volunteers like you who have helped document numerous bird species inhabiting Los Angeles. Once again, Griffith Park is one of the participants, and on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, volunteers will meet at Trails Cafe in Fern Dell at 8 am. From there we’ll hike into the Fern Dell and begin the count. If you need more information regarding the count, please go to http://www.audubon.org/join-christmas-bird-count

This is an easy hike and if you’ve not done it, you’re in for a treat because it’s a whole lotta fun!
