FoGP Volunteers Heading Back to Fern Dell

On Sat., Feb. 8, we’ll be in the Jewel of Griffith Park – Fern Dell. This area is well-traveled/utilized by many Los Angeleños due to its ease of access and charming surroundings. We’ll be mulching and planting (for all those who LOVE to place new plants in the ground).
While we provide tools and gloves, if you have a favorite well-worn pair, please feel free to bring them. We urge you to always wear clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting REALLY DIRTY and last, but not least, please don a hat and sunscreen as this IS California.
If you’ve volunteered with us in the past, you know Rec and Parks requires volunteer agreements, so if you haven’t filled one out yet, please do so and send along to Ross. We´ll also have a few agreements available at the event (just in case).
Hope to see you out at the event… If you cannot find parking along the roadway, go to the parking lot slightly north. Look for the signage!
Next month (March, 2025) we’ll be working at the Griffith Observatory Lookout area. More about the event will be posted shortly!
