FoGP’s First Mushroom Hike of 2025

FoGP is excited to announce our first Mushroom Hike of the new year! Because of recent rains, mushrooms are beginning to pop up all over Griffith Park!

And once again FoGP is enlisting the talents of mushroom expert Bat Vardeh, Founder of Foraging and Mushroom Hunting Women of SoCal, to lead us into the wonderful world of fungi.

We’ll be heading out early so you must show up by 8AM SHARP on Sun., Feb. 23! Otherwise, you’ll be left behind.

Since there are limited spaces available, be sure to sign up now. You’ll be given directions on where to meet after signing up. If you’re unable to make this hike, there will be another mushroom walk in Mid-March so make sure to check back on our website calendar events.

(BTW… we NEVER forage edible mushrooms; this is a purely-educational, casual walk.)
