Let’s Hike With Mike

We are thrilled that historian Mike Eberts (Centennial History of Griffith Park) will be leading a small group (max 30) to give participants a glimpse into Griffith Park’s past in the Travel Town plot that’s seen a great many iterations over the decades.

Join us and learn about the Japanese Internment Camp, the history of Forest Lawn, the ever-present freeways slicing up the landscape and, much more! *Please Note: we’ll be traversing some steep hills on this hike which is about 3 miles roundtrip. We highly recommend that participants wear sturdy shoes, bring water and your natural curiosity.
