Earth Day Event at the Bird Sanctuary in Griffith Park
This Earth Day, FoGP is heading back to the Bird Sanctuary for more…
The Bird Sanctuary has a long history as one of the premiere spots to birdwatch in the Park. A brief history of this area can be viewed at A Bird-Friendly Landscape, A Human Refuge
Volunteers are always asked to dress comfortably… old clothes and comfy, closed-toe shoes. While this area is somewhat shady, we always ask folks to bring a hat and wear sunscreen. If you have gloves, please bring them, although we do provide gloves. We’ll provide tools and water (if you bring a bottle, you can always refill).
To work in the park per LA Rec and Parks (RAP), you need to complete and submit this Volunteer Agreement Form. Fill out the form, scan it, and email it back to rossarnold1213@gmail.com, or bring the completed form to this project.
And if you’ve already completed a form, just sign in when you arrive at the worksite!
We do not take reservations for this event… JUST SHOW UP!
