The work and mission of FoGP was the focus of a recent report from Spectrum News! Did you happen to catch it?

FoGP was on hand for the kickoff of LA28’s Volunteer Program; there were speeches by our local dignitaries, folks who volunteered at the 1984 Olympics, and then inspiring words from Olympian Carl Lewis who serves as the spokesperson for LA 28 Volunteer Program.

After the official announcements, FoGP discussed the importance of native plants in our natural environment and then directed volunteers to Fern Canyon to begin an invasive plant removal. Not only did these volunteers work hard, many are eager to come back for more volunteer activities with FoGP.
