The “Jewel of Griffith Park” is Looking for Volunteers

Fern Dell is one of the loveliest spots in the Park, which is why FoGP conducts so many volunteer efforts in this area.

That said… we’re heading back in early July to continue cleaning the streambeds and adjacent trails – and just think – you can do something good for the Park, then treat yourself to coffee and a tasty pastry across the street – a win-win!

Look for the signs…  if you can find street parking, great. If not, drive up the road to #9 Lot and walk down. The event will begin near the children’s playground (slightly north of Trails Café}.

Dress for success!… in other words come comfortably dressed. We’ll provide the tools but if you have a fav pair of gloves, please bring ’em. Also, wear a hat and sunscreen, even though this area is fairly shady in the morning. Bring a water bottle and we’ll provide water!

BTW… we’re required by RAP to have volunteer forms on hand for everyone working in the Park. If you haven’t filled one out, please do it today and send to FoGP Volunteer Coordinator Ross Arnold.
