Back to Fern Dell We Go…

Friends of Griffith Park volunteers have been working in the Fern Dell area since Earth Day in preparation of the winter storms. We began by cleaning the area near Parking Lot #9 at the northern end and have been steadily moving toward Los Feliz Blvd. We’re currently working near the section where Fern Dell and Red Oak Drive meet.

FoGP will supply hand tools, work gloves, water and cups, but if you have your own gloves and/or water containers, please bring them. We do recommend wearing long pants, closed-toe shoes or boots, sunscreen. If you have sensitive skin, you should wear a long-sleeve shirt even though we’re working primarily in the shade. And lastly, don’t forget the hat.

PLEASE LOOK FOR OUR SIGNS as we’ll be working down close to Los Feliz Blvd.
