Friends of Griffith Park has regular service projects in Griffith Park, in conjunction with the Department of Recreation and Parks. To be put on our volunteer list or for any questions, please send a “contact us” email from our website.

  • Recent projects have included:
Regular cleanups and graffiti mitigation in the Old Zoo area
    Invasive plant removals
Habitat restoration and stairs re-building project in Fern Canyon, working with students from the School for Environmental Studies at John Marshall High School and Eagle Scout Troop 31
    Bird Sanctuary weeding

Several significant projects are slated for upcoming months. We are especially interested to hear from organizations that can participate as a group.

Thank you to all our great volunteers!

Hello. My name is Jorge and I work in the accounting department at a company called Rexford. Our department is looking into community service opportunities that we can do as a team (20ish people). Came across your website and wanted to see if there were any volunteering opportunities in the month of November?
