Back to the Bird Sanctuary for a Mulch Spreading Event

We’re trying to get some work done before the rains come, so hope you can join us…
Grab the old clothes out and get ready for another FoGP effort as we’ll be working at the Bird Sanctuary, mulching our new plantings.
For your safety, FoGP requires closed-toed shoes and please bring a hat, and sunscreen. We will provide water, cups, work gloves, and hand tools, but if you have your own water container and work gloves, feel free to bring them. Also, if you’ve not already completed one of our Volunteer Agreements, please complete and bring the form to the event. You can also e-mail back to rossarnold1213@gmail.com.
There are various small groups of volunteers working in the park during weekdays. If you are interested in joining one or more of these groups, go to Volunteer on our website and let us know of your interest and the days you are available. We will reach out to you.
Finally, if your company, organization, or service club is interested in working on a project in the park, please let us know and we can arrange a private project for your group. We are seeking a group of adults interested in helping clean streambeds in Fern Dell. Again, if your group is interested in a private project, please send a request through the same Volunteer portal and someone will reach out to you to work out the details.
