DESCRIPTION:Our L.A. Raptor Study team is planning in-person volunteer workshops — and we´d love to see new and returning faces to our cadre of community scientists. This is the second in-person training and will take place at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve (look for signage) \nWe hope you´ll be a part of our eighth annual L.A. Raptor Study which has been tracking and monitoring the ecological dynamics of our nesting raptors. Volunteers are an essential part of this study; they are the eyes on the ground collecting data for our biologists to analyze. This urban survey has been making important strides in how we understand urban raptors. \nIf you´re a new volunteer that´s interested in joining this important study\, please fill out the required volunteer application. \nSITE information will be sent prior to the training.
