SUMMARY:Let’s Hike With Mike
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled that historian Mike Eberts (Centennial History of Griffith Park) will be leading a small group (max 30) to give participants a glimpse into Griffith Park’s past in the Travel Town plot that’s seen a great many iterations over the decades. \nJoin us and learn about the Japanese Internment Camp\, the history of Forest Lawn\, the ever-present freeways slicing up the landscape and\, much more! *Please Note: we’ll be traversing some steep hills on this hike which is about 3 miles roundtrip. We highly recommend that participants wear sturdy shoes\, bring water and your natural curiosity. \nPreference goes to FoGP members. Space is limited. Reserve your space now! \nLocation will be given out prior to this Hike With Mike event.
