DESCRIPTION:We’re very excited to announce… \nA biodiversity hotspot stroll with FoGP Board member Cody Porter on why it’s valuable to take your time out on the trails. \nPractice the art of paying attention… of looking more closely and learn plant identification techniques as you sharpen your observation skills. \nBring your natural curiosity\, your sketchpads and journals\, or even your camera and artistically document your discoveries. While this is a slow meander\, please be aware there will be some fairly steep climbing so know your limitations. \nSpaces are limited for this walk\, with preference going to FoGP members. DESCRIPTION:The Toyon-Folk Garden Loop begins at the Mineral Wells Parking Lot and it’s an intermediate hike with a gain of 1\,050 feet along the trail.\nWe encourage folks to go to the GP-eX site for further information before this event to learn about the ease/difficulty of the hike. \nWe’ll also have a sign-sheet available for a head count. \nDon’t forget to bring water\, a hat\, sunscreen\, your friends\, snacks and enthusiasm!
